Wingate, N.C.----The second-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears outscored #6 Wingate University 5-1 in the second period Saturday night, collecting a 12-7 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action Saturday night at Irwin Belk Stadium. The Bears improve to 8-1 overall and 3-1 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in league play.

- Donovan Powell stretched the lead back to five with a goal 37 seconds later
- Moran scored off a Grieco assist with 6:56 to go to make it 9-5
- Voss answered with a goal a minute later to push the lead back to five
FOURTH PERIOD
- Riley scored off Clark's assist at the 10:57 mark to make it 10-6
- Riley scored off Grieco's assist to make it a three-goal game with nine minutes left
- Jarrett Huff made it 11-7 with a goal at the 6:18 mark
- Voss scored in the final seconds to make the final margin 12-7
