Wise, Va.----The 15th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs continued their SAC dominance Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 17-7 victory at UVA Wise in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action. The Bulldogs improve to 8-3 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Cavaliers fall to 5-7 overall and 1-3 in league play. The 'Dogs have won 23 consecutive league games dating back to the 2022 season.

FIRST QUARTER
- Blakely started the scoring in the opening minute

- Issie Brown cut the lead to one with a goal with two seconds remaining
SECOND QUARTER
- The Cavs scored twice in the opening four minutes, taking a 4-3 lead on a Noley Hiller goal
- Wingate scored the next four, starting with a Clouser goal at the 9:56 mark
- Knowles scored 40 seconds later off a Wilgeroth assist to put the 'Dogs on top 5-4
- Blakely's goal with 5:49 remaining gave the Bulldogs a two-goal cushion
- Garvin scored a minute later off a Wilgeroth assist to make it 7-4
- Kaylea Paterson pulled UVA Wise back within two at the 2:49 mark
- Fuchs and Knowles scored in the final 90 seconds to give the 'Dogs a 9-5 halftime lead
THIRD QUARTER
- Watson opened the second-half scoring off a Knowles assist at the 10:33 mark
- She scored again 90 seconds later off Wilgeroth's assist to extend the lead to six
- A Knowles goal midway through the period gave Wingate a 12-5 advantage
- Magill's goal at the 5:16 mark made it 13-6
- Blakely scored off a Fuchs assist to make it 14-6 heading to the final frame
FOURTH PERIOD
- Fuchs scored off Watson's assist two minutes into the final frame to push the lead to nine
