Newberry, S.C.----The 11th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs split a doubleheader at Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference softball action Tuesday afternoon. Wingate won the opener 7-2, while the Wolves prevailed 2-0 in game two. The Bulldogs move to 20-5 overall and 3-1 in the SAC, while Newberry goes to 13-11 overall and 1-1 in league play.
