Wingate, N.C.----The top-ranked Limestone University Saints scored four times in the opening five minutes of the second half Saturday afternoon en route to a 17-14 victory over #7 Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium. The Saints improve to 14-0 overall and 8-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 9-4 overall and 6-2 in league play.

- Clark started the scoring four minutes in off a McMahon assist
- Carter Brand and Jason Thomfohrde answered with goals to give Limestone a 2-1 lead
- Grant tied it at two with a goal at the 7:08 mark
- Matthew Burt put LU back on top 27 second later
- Clark scored off a Grieco assist to tie it at three with 5:51 remaining
- Michael McGarry put the Saints back on top with 1:49 to go
- Michael Shakerin's goal in the final second gave Limestone a 5-3 advantage
SECOND PERIOD
- Zachary Terry's goal at the 13:40 mark gave the Saints a three-goal lead
- Clark scored off Grieco's assist 41 seconds later to make it 6-4
- Tim Ladner scored 14 seconds later to stretch the lead back to three
- Spence scored off Grieco's assist a minute later to pull Wingate back within two
- Grieco scored at the 5:43 mark to make it 8-7
- Riley's goal off Moran's assist tied it at eight with five minutes left
- Jason Thomfohrde put the Saints back on top at the 3:55 mark
- Moran scored off a Grieco assist with 1:55 remaining, making it 9-9
THIRD PERIOD
- Limestone struck four times in the first five minutes, taking a 13-9 lead on a Brand goal
- Goals from Grant and Clark pulled the 'Dogs back within two at the 8:49 mark
