Brooks blasts four homers; Kale tosses no-hitter as #10 ‘Dogs push winning streak to 21

Mars Hill, N.C.----Wingate University junior Savanna Brooks connected on four homers Saturday afternoon, becoming the program's all-time homerun leader as the 10th-ranked Bulldogs swept a doubleheader at Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference softball action. Wingate won the opener 5-1, while a Sydney Kale no-hitter highlighted a 9-0 victory in game two. The 'Dogs have won 21 straight, improving to 41-6 overall and 19-1 in league play.
