Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs used a four-run sixth inning to prevail 6-4 at Belmont Abbey College in NCAA Division II baseball action Tuesday night. Wingate improves to 24-17 overall, while the Crusaders fall to 21-18.

- Harris followed with a two-run double to put the 'Dogs on top 5-4

- Ishmael lined a one-out double to left center
- An RBI single from Rhodes gave Wingate a two-run advantage

WRAPUP

- Velazquez got the win, moving to 2-2 on the year
- He struck out two in a scoreless inning of work
- Barnett notched his second save of the season with a scoreless ninth
- Thomas Paxton took the loss, allowing four runs on three hits in an inning of work
