Friday’s Wingate-Anderson volleyball match moved to Saturday at 2 p.m.

Wingate, N.C.----Due to effects of Hurricane Helene, the South Atlantic Conference volleyball match between Wingate University and Anderson University, originally scheduled for Friday night at 7 p.m., has been postponed. The two will now play Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. in Cuddy Arena. Fans can watch the match on FloSports and can follow through live stats.

The Bulldogs will enter the match at 9-2 overall, with a 2-1 mark in league play. The Trojans are 5-6 overall, with a 2-2 record in the SAC. Wingate and Anderson met three times last season, with the Trojans winning in five sets at home, then the 'Dogs prevailing 3-1 in Cuddy Arena. The teams met in the regional semifinals in Cuddy Arena, with Anderson winning 3-2 en route to its first-ever regional title. Wingate is 32-8 all-time against Anderson, with a 19-1 record in Cuddy Arena.
