Hartsville, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs opened the 2024 season in style, sweeping past Belmont Abbey and Francis Marion in NCAA Division II volleyball action Friday afternoon on day one of the Coker Cobras Classic. Wingate rolled to a 25-7, 25-11, 25-17 victory over the Crusaders to start the year, then prevailed 25-15, 25-17 and 25-21 over the Patriots to move to 2-0 on the year.
