Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs struck three times in a seven-minute span Wednesday evening en route to a 4-1 victory over Coker University in NCAA Division II field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 7-4 overall, while the Cobras fall to 2-11 on the season.

- Wingate regained the lead four minutes into the final frame
- Gerner scored off a Brown assist to put the 'Dogs on top 2-1
- Gerner struck again with five minutes left to extend the lead to two
- Lane capped the scoring with 4:15 remaining
- She scored off a Gerner assist to make the final margin 4-1
