‘Dogs ride fourth-quarter flurry to 4-1 victory over Coker

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs struck three times in a seven-minute span Wednesday evening en route to a 4-1 victory over Coker University in NCAA Division II field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 7-4 overall, while the Cobras fall to 2-11 on the season.

- The Bulldogs held a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal

KEY BULLDOGS

- Grace Gerner had two goals and an assist
- Mary Muller added a goal
- Maggie Lane also scored for the 'Dogs

- She scored off a Gerner assist to make the final margin 4-1
