Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University senior Lauren Montgomery with five minutes remaining in regulation Tuesday night, giving the Bulldogs a thrilling 1-0 victory over Belmont Abbey College in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the SAC, while the Crusaders fall to 5-4 overall and 5-2 in league play.
