Wilson, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs closed out the regular season in style, cruising to a 4-0 victory at Barton College in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action. The Bulldogs improve to 10-6 overall and 6-4 in the SAC, while Barton falls to 0-15 overall and 0-10 in league play. The win gives Wingate hosting duties for Tuesday night's SAC Tournament quarterfinal contest. The 'Dogs will host Converse Tuesday at 6 p.m.

- Wingate got on the board 9:29 into the opening frame
- Brown started the scoring to give the 'Dogs a 1-0 advantage

SECOND QUARTER
- Wingate added to the lead with 4:32 left in the half
- Robinson scored off Pearson's assist to give the 'Dogs a 3-0 halftime lead
THIRD QUARTER
- Wingate capped the scoring with just over five minutes left in the third
- Haines scored her second goal of the day to put the 'Dogs on top 4-0
