Miller leads Bulldogs to season-opening win at Barton

Wilson, N.C.----Jordan Miller poured in 28 points Friday night, leading the visiting Wingate University Bulldogs to a 94-92 victory at Barton College in NCAA Division II men's basketball action. Wingate starts the season 1-0, while Barton falls to 0-1.

- Faber's triple with nine minutes to go cut the lead to three at 56-53
- Lingo answered with a three, but a Smalls dunk made it 59-57 with eight minutes to go
- Wingate used an 11-1 run to take a 70-58 lead
- Lingo had five points in the flurry; Miller's layup capped it at the 5:22 mark
- A Smalls three cut the lead to eight, but Pack's triple made it 75-64 with 3:20 remaining
- Two Miller free throws with 1:25 to go extended the lead to 13 at 86-73
