Wingate, N.C.----The fourth-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs won a 1-0 thriller over fifth-seeded Converse University in the quarterfinals of the 2025 South Atlantic Conference field hockey tournament Tuesday night at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 11-6 overall, advancing to the SAC Tournament semifinals Friday at Newberry. The Valkyries finish their season at 8-9.
