Emory, Va.----The Wingate University Bulldogs picked up another conference road victory Saturday afternoon, prevailing 74-72 at Emory & Henry in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bulldogs improve to 13-7 overall and 12-4 in the SAC, while the Wasps fall to 6-17 overall and 1-16 in league play.

KEY STATS

- Wingate shot 44 percent from the field, going eight-for-16 from three-point range (50 percent)
- E&H shot 49 percent from the field, connecting on nine-of-23 from deep (39 percent)

- Two Emma Santoro free throws with 1:35 to go gave the Wasps a 36-34 advantage

- An Anya Massey three put the 'Dogs on top 41-38 in the opening minute
- Back-to-back Mimi Traynham threes gave the Wasps a 46-43 at the 7:07 mark
- Yarber's three-point play with four minutes left gave E&H a 53-48 lead
- A Baraldi triple and Jones layup tied it at 53
- A Huges layup and Kylie Chavis three capped a 10-0 run to give WU a five-point lead
