Wingate, N.C.----An Ousmane Dia putback as the buzzer sounded gave Carson-Newman University an 87-85 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Eagles improve to 19-8 overall and 14-7 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-11 overall and 9-11 in league play.
