#16 Wingate moves to 3-0 on the year with 13-8 win at Lee

Cleveland, Tenn.----The 16th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs picked up their second win in as many days Sunday afternoon, prevailing 13-8 at Lee University in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse action. The Bulldogs move to 3-0 on the year, while the Flames fall to 0-2 overall.

THIRD QUARTER

- Two goals from Lily Tomczik cut the lead to three at the 12:27 mark
- Scarfogliero scored off a Higgins assist 21 seconds later to make it 8-4
- Higgins set up Millard for a goal 22 seconds later to push the lead back to five
- Scarfogliero's goal at the 10:24 mark made it 10-4
- Tomczik scored with 2:46 left in the frame to pull Lee back within four at 10-6

FOURTH QUARTER

- Fuchs scored three minutes in off a Millard assist to make it 11-6
- Watson scored 38 seconds later to give Wingate a six-goal advantage
- Wilgeroth scored the final goal for the 'Dogs with 4:16 remaining, making it 13-7
