Bulldogs split doubleheader at #18 Lenoir-Rhyne

Hickory, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs picked up a 7-4 victory in game one of Saturday's South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader at #18 Lenoir-Rhyne, while the Bears prevailed 9-2 in game two. Wingate moves to 5-8 overall and 2-4 in the SAC, while the Bears go to 12-2 overall and 2-1 in league play.

- McDougall got the win, allowing three runs on seven hits in five innings, striking out seven
- Harvey earned the save, allowing a run on two hits in four innings, striking out four

WRAPUP

- Kellen Gradisar got the win, tossing five shutout frames, allowing three hits and striking out three
- Thomas Goldberg took the loss, allowing four earned runs on eight hits in four innings, striking out five
