Fort Lauderdale, Fla.----The Nova Southeastern University Sharks swept a doubleheader against #19 Wingate University Saturday afternoon in NAA Division II softball action. NSU won the opener 9-0, then prevailed 5-1 in game two to improve to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs fall to 2-4 overall.

GAME ONE | NOVA SOUTHEASTERN 9 WINGATE 0

- A Cassidy Patterson RBI double pushed the lead to seven
- A bases-loaded walk and an RBI groundout from Brianna Matthews gave NSU a 9-0 advantage

WRAPUP

- Gracelyn Wallace got the win, allowing three hits in four shutout frames, striking out two
- Jillian Thomas took the loss, allowing five runs on three hits in 1 2/3 innings

- She reached on an error to drive home Hobgood, making it 4-1

WRAPUP

- Duskin got the win, allowing a run on six hits in seven innings of work
- Lily Huneycutt took the loss, allowing five runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings, striking out three
