Greeneville, Tenn.----The Wingate University Bulldogs outscored Tusculum University 23-10 in the second quarter Saturday afternoon en route to a 77-67 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bulldogs win their fifth straight, moving to 15-7 overall and 14-4 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 8-15 overall and 6-13 in league play.

- Massey's layup in the final seconds gave WU a 14-12 advantage
SECOND QUARTER
- A Massey three and two Baraldi free throws extended the lead to seven at the 8:24 mark
- A Ni'Kiah Chesterfield three-point play made it 19-14 with eight minutes to go
- Another Hughes triple with six minutes remaining gave WU a seven-point cushion
- A Chavis layup and two Hughes free throws extended the lead to 10 at the midway point
- Two Zoe Sharpe free throws pulled TU within six at 28-22
- Wingate closed the half on a 9-0 run, starting with a Beale layup
- Ekperigha's three-point play with 30 second left put the 'Dogs on top 37-22 at halftime
THIRD QUARTER
- Baraldi's bucket on the opening possession stretched the lead to 17
- Buckets from Massey and Bacon put the 'Dogs on top 45-25 at the 6:33 mark
- A Danyell Booker layup with two minutes left cut the lead to 14
- Baraldi answered with a triple to make it 55-38
- Wilson's three with 40 seconds left pulled the Pioneers within 11
- A Hughes jumper with 19 seconds to go gave Wingate a 57-44 advantage
FOURTH QUARTER
- An Ema Nagyova three at the 8:45 mark cut the lead to 10
- A Bacon three-point play and Anderson layup gave the 'Dogs a 64-49 cushion
- A Chavis layup at the midway point extended the lead to 16
- Another Nagyova triple cut the lead back to 11 with three minutes left
- A free throw and layup from Bacon made it 73-59 with 2:06 to go
- Tusculum got no closer than 11 the rest of the way
