Wingate, N.C.----The Mars Hill University Lions wrapped up the regular season with a 70-57 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Cuddy Arena. The Lions improve to 17-11 overall and 14-10 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 18-10 overall and 17-7 in league play. The Bulldogs will be the number four seed in this week's SAC Tournament, opening tourney play Wednesday in Rock Hill, S.C.

- Mars Hill shot 39 percent from the field, going nine-for-32 from three-point range (28 percent)
- Wingate shot 38 percent from the field, connecting on three-of-11 from deep (27 percent)
