Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs put up another impressive defensive display Thursday afternoon en route to a 10-5 victory over IUP in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The Bulldogs move to 7-1 on the season, while the Crimson Hawks fall to 1-4 overall.

SECOND QUARTER
- Watson scored 22 seconds in to put the 'Dogs back on top
- Wilgeroth scored of fa Millard assist at the 6:05 mark to make it 3-1
- Millard scored off a Wilgeroth assist 21 seconds later to stretch the lead to three
- Watson's goal at the 3:21 mark off another Wilgeroth assist made it 5-1
THIRD QUARTER
- Emme Mass scored just over a minute into the half to pull IUP within three
- Wilgeroth answered with a goal a minute later to make it 6-2
- Scherer scored with nine minutes remaining to push the advantage to five
- Wilgeroth's goal with 7:11 to go put the 'Dogs on top 8-2
- Solero found the back of the net at the 5:54 mark to stretch the lead to seven
- Brenna Whiteside scored with four minutes remaining to cut the lead to six
FOURTH QUARTER
- Maggie Kilgallon scored in the opening minute to make it a 9-4 game
- Watson scored off Allen's assist at the 9:12 mark to put the 'Dogs on top 10-4
- Crosby capped the scoring on the day for the Crimson Hawks with 3:48 remaining
