#20 Bulldogs move to 8-1 on the year with 20-4 victory over Tusculum

Wingate, N.C.----The 20th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs scored 19 of the first 20 goals Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 20-4 victory over Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. Wingate moves to 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 4-5 overall and 3-1 in league play.

SECOND QUARTER

- Blakely's goal off a Higgins assist started the scoring two minutes into the second quarter
- Wilgeroth and Scarfogliero added goals off assists from Weber and Allen to make it 14-1
- Millard's goal off an Allen assist with 4:36 remaining pushed the lead to 14
- Scarfogliero scored off Buckmaster's assist in the final minute to give WU a 16-1 lead

THIRD QUARTER

- Watson scored off Garvin's assist two minutes into the half to add to the lead
- Wilgeroth assisted on goals from Millard and Scarfogliero to make it 19-1 at the 8:40 mark

FOURTH QUARTER

- Scarfogliero scored off Blakely's assist to make it 20-2 with 11 minutes remaining
