Wingate, N.C.----The fifth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs piled up a program-record 28 goals Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 28-11 victory over Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The Bulldogs improve to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 3-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.

- Tusculum scored the next three, with a Luke Bowen goal tying it at five at the 3:42 mark
- Butrico scored twice in the final 20 seconds, with Spence assisting on both to give WU a 7-5 lead

SECOND PERIOD

- Spence and Grant scored in a 45-second span give the Bulldogs a four-goal edge
- Moran scored off a Grant assist at the 9:23 mark to make it 10-6
- Preston Stewart's goal two minutes later cut the lead to two
- The 'Dogs scored the next six goals, starting with a McGivern goal off Clark's assist at the 5:50 mark
- Clark scored off a Papach assist, while a Butrico goal off Blakely's assist a minute later made it 13-8
- Magyar scored off Watson's assist with 2:31 to go to extend the lead to six
