Final Results

Montevallo, Ala.----The Wingate University Bulldogs set a new program record Tuesday evening, prevailing 245.630-236.730 at the University of Montevallo in NCATA Acro & Tumbling action. The Bulldogs improve to 5-3 overall, while the Falcons fall to 2-3 on the season.

The Bulldogs got things started with 35.35 out of 40 points in the Compulsory section, including a 9.70 in the Pyramid Heat and 9.40 in the Toss heat. The 'Dogs started the Acro section with a 9.30 in the 5-element heat, while posting an 8.55 in the 7-element.

The Pyramid section was highlighted by an 8.60 in the Inversion heat, leading to 23.45 in the three-heat section. Wingate posted 24.45 out of a possible 27.40 in the Toss section, which they capped with an 8.55 out of nine in Heat three.

The Bulldogs stayed hot in the Tumbling section, putting up 48.840 out of 52.45 possible points, starting with an 8.350 in the Duo Pass. Wingate scored a 9.7 out of 10 in the Aerial Pass, while notching an 8.275 out of 8.60 in the 6-element pass. The Bulldogs capped the night with a score of 79.53 in the team event.
