Wingate, N.C.----The ninth-ranked University of North Georgia Nighthawks used a six-run sixth inning to rally for an 8-6 victory in game one of Tuesday's NCAA Division II softball doubleheader at Wingate University, while prevailing 6-1 in game two to improve to 26-4 overall. The Bulldogs fall to 16-14 on the season.

- Carleigh Knowles led off the frame with a solo homer to make it 3-1

- Stevens drew a leadoff walk, then scored on Kramer's RBI double to push the lead back to three
FIFTH INNING
- Scott reached on a one-out error
- Stevens followed with a two-run homer to put the 'Dogs on top 6-1
SIXTH INNING
- The Nighthawks scored six times in the sixth to take the lead
- Natalie Ray started the scoring with an RBI double
- Rylie Moody's two-run single made it a one-run game
- A Marycille Brumby RBI single tied it at six
- Sydnee Reaves gave North Georgia an 8-6 lead with a two-run single
