Wingate claims weekend series over LMU with doubleheader split Saturday

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs prevailed 11-5 in game one of Saturday's South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader over Lincoln Memorial University at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field, while the Railsplitters rallied for a 10-8 extra-inning victory in the finale. The 'Dogs claim the weekend series, moving to 14-15 overall and 10-8 in the SAC, while LMU moves to 17-13 overall and 7-8 in league play.
