Greenwood, S.C.----The No. 2 Wingate University women's golf team and freshman
Amely Bochaton won Lander's Lady Bearcat Classic team and individual honors Tuesday at the Greenwood Country Club. The team shot a score of 13-over-par to win by six strokes over host Lander, while Bochaton shot a seven-under-par 209 to race away from the field.
The No. 1 golfer in NCAA Division II, Bochaton was the only student-athlete to break par for the tournament. She collected a seven-stroke margin of victory over West Florida's

Head coach
JD Lamm's team now has two weeks to prepare for the first event of the postseason, the South Atlantic Conference championships slated for April 6-8. The 54-hole event takes place with one round per day over The Preserve at Verdae in Greenville, South Carolina. Wingate finished in a tie for third at last year's championships.
