Monroe, N.C.----The seventh-ranked Catawba College Indians prevailed 4-1 at #22 Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action Friday afternoon. The Indians improve to 14-0 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-4 overall and 6-1 in league play.
DOUBLES
- Catawba picked up 6-3 wins at two and three doubles

Daniela Kotara were in a tight 5-4 match at one doubles when the point was clinched
- The Indians took a 1-0 lead into singles play
SINGLES
- Kosmrlj rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at number one singles
- Catawba won at two, four and five singles to clinch the win

Suzuka Sambyakugari was in a third set at three singles after winning set two 6-1
- Kotara won the opening frame at six singles before dropping sets two and three
