Wingate, N.C.----The 20th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs outscored visiting UVA Wise 12-0 in the second half Saturday afternoon en route to a 19-5 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. Wingate improves to 11-1 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Cavaliers fall to 4-8 overall and 1-5 in league play.

- Watson started the scoring three minutes in off a Wilgeroth assist
- Leslie Clay scored with nine minutes left to tie it at one
- Blakely, Garvin and Watson scored in a three-minute stretch to give WU a 4-1 lead
- Logen Davis answered with two goals in a 3-0 run for the Cavs, tying it at four with 37 seconds left
SECOND QUARTER
- Millard scored off a Benner assist eight minutes in to give the Bulldogs a 5-4 advantage
- Watson scored 30 seconds later to stretch the lead to two
- Scherer scored off a Higgins assist to make it 7-4 at the 3:25 mark
- Abby Stoffelen scored in the final minute to cut the halftime lead to two
THIRD QUARTER
- Scherer scored off a Scarfogliero assist three minutes into the second half to make it 8-5
- Higgins scored a minute later
- Wilgeroth scored off a Scherer assist to put the 'Dogs on top 10-5
- Wilgeroth struck again at the 5:02 mark
- Millard scored off a Garvin assist to make it 12-5
- Garvin scored off Blakely's assist 21 seconds later to stretch the advantage to eight
