Greenwood, S.C.----The Lander University Bearcats scored five runs in the seventh inning Tuesday evening en route to a 6-2 victory over Wingate University in NCAA Division II baseball action. The Bearcats improve to 13-6 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 8-10 on the season.

- A wild pitch allowed Connor Droze to score, tying it at two
- A Evan Wickeri RBI double gave Lander a 3-2 advantage
- Grant Sherrod followed with a three-run homer to make it 6-2
WRAPUP
- Luke Johnson got the win, tossing three shutout frames while striking out three
