Wingate blanks Mars Hill twice to finish off second straight SAC sweep

Mars Hill, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs allowed just three hits in 14 innings Saturday afternoon, shutting out Mars Hill twice in South Atlantic Conference baseball action. Wingate won the opener 13-0, while prevailing 1-0 in game two to improve to 11-10 overall and 8-4 in the SAC. The 'Dogs have swept each of their last two SAC series. Mars Hill falls to 5-18 overall and 1-8 in league play.
