Wingate, N.C.----The 16th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect in league play Saturday afternoon, collecting an impressive 18-8 victory over Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. Wingate improves to 14-1 overall and 9-0 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 8-6 overall and 6-2 in league play.

- Wingate outscored Anderson 5-0 in the second frame
- Millard scored off a Scarfogliero assist at the 11:27 mark to put the Bulldogs on top 5-4
- Wilgeroth scored off a Watson assist, while a Millard goal off Benner's assist made it 7-4
- Benner scored off a Watson assist with 2:07 remaining to extend the lead to four
- Weber scored off a Wilgeroth assist 21 seconds later to make it 9-4

THIRD QUARTER

- The Bulldogs outscored the Trojans 5-0 in the third quarter
- Higgins scored off a Scarfogliero assist 66 seconds into the half
