Emory, Va.----The Wingate University Bulldogs blasted five homers Saturday afternoon, piling up a season-high 17 runs on a season-high 19 hits in a 17-10 victory at Emory & Henry in South Atlantic Conference baseball action. Wingate improves to 24-23 overall and 14-14 in the SAC, while the Wasps fall to 16-32 overall and 7-21 in league play.

- Evans connected on a two-run shot to left, making it 8-2
- Groppuso drew a walk and stole second, then scored on a Courville sacrifice fly
- A hit batter and walk put two more Bulldogs on
- Harris lined a two-run triple to left center to make it 11-2
- Scheffler plated Harris with an RBI double to give Wingate a 10-run lead
- A two-run homer for Steven Smith in the bottom of the frame cut the lead to eight
- Bailey added a three-run shot to make it 12-7
- Khadeem Lewis capped the seven-run frame for the Wasps with a two-run shot to make it a three-run game
SEVENTH INNING
- Sessoms started the inning with a solo homer to right center to make it 13-9
- A pair of walks put two on base for Groppuso
- His two-run single put the 'Dogs on top 15-9
- Groppuso scored on a wild pitch to give the Bulldogs a seven-run cushion
NINTH INNING
- Courville singled to start the frame, then moved to third on an error
- He scored on Dixon's RBI single to give Wingate a 17-9 lead
