Matthews, N.C.----The second-seeded Limestone University Saints outscored top-seeded Wingate University 10-0 in the second half Saturday afternoon, prevailing 16-7 to claim the 2025 South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse tournament championship. The Saints improve to 14-5 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 17-2 on the season.

- Wingate scored the next four goals, starting with Watson's goal at the 8:21 mark off Scarfogliero's assist
- Watson scored off another Scarfogliero assist three minutes later to make it 2-1
- Wilgeroth scored off a Solero assist to extend the lead to two
- Garvin's goal with 2:41 remaining put the 'Dogs on top 4-1
SECOND QUARTER
- Reese Hjertaas scored a minute into the second frame to cut the lead to two
- Watson scored off Scarfogliero's assist at the 11:30 mark to push the WU lead back to three
- Limestone scored the next three, tying it at five on a Keira Martin goal with 6:48 to go
- Scarfogliero scored off Benner's assist 40 seconds later to put Wingate back on top
- Shannon Creagh answered with a goal to tie it with 4:15 remaining
- Benner scored off a Churns assist at the 1:10 mark, giving WU a 7-6 halftime lead
THIRD QUARTER
- Limestone outscored Wingate 7-0 in the third frame
- Creagh started it four minutes in, while Deirdre Jones goal gave the Saints an 8-7 lead
- Jones scored twice more in the frame, making it 13-7 with a goal with 15 seconds left
FOURTH QUARTER
- Joscelin Martin scored three minutes into the third to extend the lead to seven
- Martin capped the scoring on the day with 2:32 remaining
