Norman, Okla.----Three Wingate University men's golf student-athletes are Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Cobalt All-America Scholars for the 2024-25 season. Juniors
Lewis Beeden,
Fynn Loewe and
Alfie Storer represent the Bulldogs.
Â
Beeden receives his second GCAA All-America Scholar honor, while Loewe and Storer are recognized for the first time. Beeden achieves a prestigious GCAA academic-athletic double-double, as he was named to the 2025 Division II PING honorable mention All-America team in June.

Bulldogs advance to the national semifinals in 2025, where they dropped a tough decision to eventual champion the University of West Florida. Wingate won five tournaments this season with three runner-up performances. Three of the Bulldogs' five victories were achieved in consecutive spring events: Barton's Bulldog Clash, Lander's Bearcat Classic and Wingate's Hargett Memorial.
Â
What They Are Saying
Wingate head men's golf coachÂ
JD LammÂ
"We are extremely proud of our guys for exemplifying what it means to be a Bulldog both on and off the golf course. Lewis, Fynn and Alfie have all worked extremely hard this past year. It's terrific to see their efforts be recognized by the GCAA. I'm extremely excited to get things started again this coming semester and to see what they'll be able to achieve."
