What They Are Saying
Wingate junior men's golf student-athlete
Matthew Wordon
"Our preseason was hard work, but it was fun at the same time. It was nice to be back with the team. We have six freshmen who we had the honour of meeting and welcoming them to our team. With so many international student-athletes…having everyone in the same place is a big deal."
"Every lad on our team works very hard. I don't think our fans realize how hard we work on our games and our studies outside of the traditional practice window.
Fynn Loewe always goes above and beyond the call of duty. His work ethic is amazing. It is obvious to everyone that
Brandon Skidmore and
Cole Rouse worked incredibly hard this summer. Brandon's summer tournament schedule was a full one."
Up next for the No. 9 Wingate Bulldogs
The 15 teams and 79 student-athletes in the fourth annual Mizuno Intercollegiate will return to action Tuesday for the third and final round on the Chattahoochee Golf Club layout. The third round begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
