#21 Wingate sweeps past Carson-Newman for 10th straight win

Jefferson City, Tenn.----Led by a near triple-double from Maya Van Heyst, the 21st-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs hit .396 in an impressive 3-0 victory at Carson-Newman University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action Friday night. The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-10 to move to 11-1 overall and 4-0 in the SAC, while the Eagles fall to 11-2 overall and 2-2 in league play.

- Wingate had 48 kills and just eight errors in 101 attacks to hit .396
- C-N had 30 kills and 18 errors in 104 swings, hitting .115
