Wingate, N.C.----The 18th-ranked Coker University Cobras outscored the Bulldogs 24-5 in the first quarter Wednesday night en route to a 68-52 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Cobras improve to 14-3 overall and 9-2 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 11-6 overall and 6-5 in league play.

- A Kamari Thompson layup at the buzzer gave the Cobras a 24-5 advantage

SECOND QUARTER

- A Bacon layup started the scoring in the second quarter
- A Kristynn Knight triple with seven minutes left gave Coker a 29-7 lead
- Ferguson's three a minute later pushed the lead to 23
- Buckets from Harvey and Merceron made it 32-15 at the 4:24 mark
- A Shawnteanna Tillman free throws in the final second gave Coker a 37-15 halftime lead

THIRD QUARTER

- Ferguson's jumper at the 8:21 mark gave the Cobras a 24-point cushion
- A jumper and triple from Shorma made it 43-26 at with 6:19 to go
- Free throws from Shorma and Bacon cut the lead to 13
- Buckets from Harvey, Chavis and Montiel sparked a 6-0 run, making it 44-36
- Knight's triple with 1:13 remaining extended the lead back to 13
- Harvey's layup in the final minute made it 49-38

FOURTH QUARTER

- Tillman's jumper at the 6:37 mark gave the Cobras a 60-42 lead
- Chi'Nya Isaac's layup at the midway point cut the lead to 15
- Two Tillman free throws with four minutes left made it 65-46
- Wingate got no closer than 14 the rest of the way
