Wingate, N.C.----The 18th-ranked Coker University Cobras outscored the Bulldogs 24-5 in the first quarter Wednesday night en route to a 68-52 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Cobras improve to 14-3 overall and 9-2 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 11-6 overall and 6-5 in league play.

- Free throws from Shorma and Bacon cut the lead to 13
- Buckets from Harvey, Chavis and Montiel sparked a 6-0 run, making it 44-36
- Knight's triple with 1:13 remaining extended the lead back to 13
