Wingate, N.C.----The UVA Wise Cavaliers used a 28-6 second-half run Friday evening en route to an 81-70 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Cavaliers improve to 15-5 overall and 8-4 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 9-9 overall and 4-8 in league pay.

- A Cy Hardy jumper gave UVA Wise a 17-7 lead at the 14:13 mark

- Kolir Pruett's triple at the 10:49 mark gave the Cavs a 26-9 advantage
- Another Pruett three a minute later extended the lead to 20
- A Quinn triple and
Jayden Street bucket pulled Wingate back within 15
- Quinn's three with six minutes to go made it 34-22
- An Evan Ramsey putback gave UVA Wise a 15-point cushion with four minutes left

- Wingate scored the first 14 points of the second half to take the lead
- Vick had six points in the flurry; Bradley's three at the 15:56 mark gave WU a 43-42 lead
- Two Kam Roberts free throws put Wise back on top, but a Campbell layup gave the 'Dogs the lead
- The Cavs scored the next 10, taking a 54-45 lead on a Yoro Diallo layup at the 10:41 mark
