Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had five players score nine or more points Friday afternoon en route to an 80-66 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 10-10 overall and 5-9 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 8-12 overall and 4-10 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- Campbell scored WU's first seven points, giving the 'Dogs an early 7-3 lead
- Tusculum took an 11-10 lead on a Wesley Johnson layup at the 14:24 mark
- Quinn and Pack knocked down threes to spark a 7-0 run, giving Wingate a 20-14 lea
- A dunk and a layup from Vick stretched the lead to seven at the 7:31 mark
- Quin buried back-to-back triples to put the Bulldogs on top 32-21 with six minutes left
- Two free throws and a layup from Bradley pushed the lead to 13 with 3:36 remaining
- Jeremiah Wilson's triple cut it to 10 at 39-29
- Free throws from Godley and Jayden Street stretched the advantage to 14
- A Damjan Vukcevic free throw with 23 seconds left made it 43-31 at halftime
SECOND HALF
- A TJ Printup three in the opening minute pulled Tusculum within nine
- Wingate scored the next seven, taking a 52-36 lead on Pack's three with 16:11 to go
- A Pack triple and Vick jumper made it 59-40 at the 12:22 mark
- Campbell's dunk gave the 'Dogs a 21-point advantage
- A pair of Bryce Jackson free throws at the 5:22 mark trimmed the lead to nine
- Bradley's three-point play made it 69-56 with 4:25 to go
- Another Bradley three-point play capped a 7-0 run, giving WU a 76-57 lead with 2:11 left
- The lead remained in double digits the rest of the way
