Wingate, N.C.----The third-ranked Florida Southern Moccasins scored the final two goals of the day Sunday afternoon, rallying for an 11-10 victory at #16 Wingate University in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The Mocs start the season 1-0, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-1.

THRID QUARTER
- Garvin scored two minutes in to stretch the lead back to three
- Tolliver and Aloi answered with goals, making it 8-7 heading to the fourth
FOURTH QUARTER
- The Mocs scored the first two goals of the final frame
- Pinder's goal at the 13:52 mark gave Florida Southern a 9-8 advantage
- Garvin scored off a Solero assist to tie it at nine
- Slayton's goal at the 10:53 mark gave the Bulldogs a 10-9 lead
