Jefferson City, Tenn.----The 24th-ranked Carson-Newman University Eagles took game one of Wednesday's South Atlantic Conference softball doubleheader 8-0 over visiting Wingate University, but the Bulldogs responded by taking game two 7-4 to move to 16-10 overall and 3-3 in the SAC. The Eagles go to 22-7 overall and 3-3 in league play.
