Ben Karpowicz 10th-inning two-run homer gave visiting Wingate University a thrilling 12-10 victory at fourth-ranked Catawba in game one of Saturday's South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader. The Indians responded by prevailing 16-1 in the finale. The Bulldogs move to 23-7 overall and 13-5 in the SAC, while the Indians go to 23-5 overall and 15-3 in league play.
