Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs bounced back from a 4-1 setback against Liberty on Friday, picking up a pair of victories Saturday afternoon in Beach Volleyball action. The 'Dogs took down Richard Bland 5-0, while adding a 4-1 victory over Salem to celebrate Senior Day in style.

LIBERTY 4 WINGATE 1

- Lilou Thieme and Kate Beezer picked up a 21-13, 21-12 victory at one pairs
- Ella Harm and Naomi Hilliard lost a hard-fought 17-21, 21-23 match at number two
- Amelia Talbott and London Moultrie dropped a tight 17-21, 22-20, 11-15 match at number three
- Lilly DeLamielleure and Ashlyn Buck suffered a three-set loss at four pairs (21-11, 10-21, 11-15)
- Ragan Ball and Michaela Benfield also had a close match at five, falling 19-21, 21-12, 13-15

WINGATE 5 RICHARD BLAND 0

- Thieme and Beezer prevailed 21-18, 21-17 at one pairs
- Harm and Hilliard won 21-16, 21-17 at number two
- Talbott and Moultrie collected a 21-18, 21-18 victory at number three
- DeLamielleure and Buck won 21-16, 21-13 at four
- Ball and Benfield capped the sweep with a 21-14, 21-14 victory at five pairs

WINGATE 4 SALEM 1

- Thieme and Beezer won 21-19, 21-18 at number one
- Harm and Hilliard won a tight 21-19, 21-19 contest at two pairs
- DeLamielleure and Buck won 21-11, 21-18 at number four
- Ball and Benfield roled to a 21-9 set one win at five pairs, then won 23-21 in the second
- Talbott and Moultrie dropped a tight 20-22, 19-21 match at number three
