What They Are Saying
Wingate thrower Amber Lawless

"This was my first time competing at Raleigh Relays…and I'm happy to open my outdoor season with a throw of 14.70 meters. It was nice to be back outside in the warmth and have the opportunity to compete against such strong competition. This meet allowed me to set the tone for what I want to accomplish this season and put me on the right track to qualify for NCAAs. I know that I have a lot of room for improvement, so I'm excited to see what the rest of the outdoor season has in store!"

Wingate distance specialist Karlijn Mesman

"The 10,000 meters at the Raleigh Relays was my outdoor track debut in this event. Despite the bad weather, the two-hour delay and a really wet track, we all made the best of it and I ran a time of 35:25.72. It was not the time that I came for, but with all the support on the sideline it was still an amazing but also really tough experience."
