Ninety-Six, S.C.----The Wingate University women's golf team captured another tournament title, earning a three-stroke victory over Lander in the Grand Harbor Classic to secure its seventh team win of the season. The Bulldogs posted rounds of one-over-par, one-over-par and three-under-par to finish at one-under-par overall in the Anderson University-hosted event.
Wingate led the field with consistency all week, recording 174 pars—12 more than any other team—and the fewest bogeys in the tournament with only 42. The Bulldogs added 44 total birdies across three rounds, closing strong with a three-under-par final round to seal the victory.
Third round quick hits
- The No. 1 ranked player in the nation, sophomore
Amely Bochaton earned medalist honors with a playoff victory by birdie on the first playoff hole. The win marks her 11th collegiate title and fifth of the season.
- Bochaton posted rounds of 71-68-70, highlighted by five birdies and an eagle in round two. She birdied the opening hole of the final round while holding the lead, showing poise under pressure.
- The '25 national Player of the Year finished second in the field in par-five scoring (4.58 average), going five-under-par on par fives, also recording the fewest bogeys of any player in the field with only six.
- Sophomore
Olivia Meinecke, ranked No. 4 nationally and No. 3 regionally, finished seventh overall, carding rounds of 71-72-73.
- Meinecke led the field in par-four scoring average (3.93), finishing two-under-par on par fours.

Haley Paramore tallied 10 birdies for her tournament.

Lauren Sutcliffe posted rounds of 76-76-73 to finish tied for 37th, recording seven birdies across the tournament.
