Wingate, N.C.----The 13th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs picked up an impressive region victory Thursday afternoon, cruising to a 20-9 victory over #18 Seton Hill in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The Bulldogs improve to 4-1 on the season, while the Griffins fall to 3-2 overall.

- A Mya Hibsman goal pulled the Griffins within three in the opening two minutes
- Glover answered with back-to-back goals in a 33-second span to make it 8-3
- A Buckmaster goal, followed by a Solero goal off a Diedrich assist made it 10-4 at the 4:49 mark
- Seton Hill scored the final two goals of the half, cutting the lead to four on a Marusko goal
THIRD QUARTER
- Marusko's goal in the opening minute of the second half made it 10-7
- The Bulldogs had the emphatic responses, scoring the last seven goals of the frame
- Solero started the flurry with a goal at the 13:42 mark
- Knutson assisted on goals from Jones and Weber to make it 13-7
- Madison Slayton's goal off a Jones assist midway through the frame pushed the lead to seven
