Franklin Springs, Ga.----The Wingate University Bulldogs clinched a share of the regular season Conference Carolinas title Saturday evening, prevailing 32-27 at Emmanuel University in flag football action. The Bulldogs improve to 8-2 overall and 8-1 in the conference, while the Lions fall to 9-6 overall and 5-3 in league play.

- Wingate had 198 passing yards and 70 rushing yards for 268 total yards
- Emmanuel had 267 passing yards and -17 rushing yards for 250 yards of offense

- Sarah Leibowitz had two catches for 83 yards and a TD, including a 62-yard touchdown grab
- Addison Morgan added three receptions for 32 yards and a score
- Addison Cadwell contributed two catches for 26 yards and a touchdown
- Kylie Watt collected a pair of receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown
- Kaylee Montalvo added 25 rushing yards along with three catches for nine yards and a TD
- Cadwell added 10 tackles, six pass break-ups and an interception
- Francis and Alana Placide each added five tackles and two pass break-ups
- Morgan had three tackles and three break-ups
