Rock Hill, S.C.----Wingate University junior attack Sean Clark has been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon. Clark earns the honor for the first time this season and fourth time in his career.

Clark led the way for the Bulldogs, as #4 Wingate rolled to a 17-7 non-conference victory over North Greenville on Wednesday, moving to 10-2 on the year. Clark piled up 10 points in the win, scoring seven goals while adding three assists. He needed just 11 shots to score his seven goals, putting eight of the shots on goal. The junior added a caused turnover and a ground ball to his stat line.

Clark ranks second on the team with 37 goals this year, adding 12 assists to rank third on the squad with 49 points. He also has six ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. Clark is one of the most efficient scorers in the nation, scoring his 37 goals on 69 shots, good for a .536 shot percentage, which ranks second nationally.

The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday, hosting Lincoln Memorial Saturday at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. The 'Dogs need to win one of their final two regular season game to claim the outright regular season SAC title.
