Mars Hill, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs bounced back from a 5-1 loss in game one of Saturday's South Atlantic Conference softball doubleheader at Mars Hill Saturday afternoon, prevailing 5-2 in game two to move to 24-18 overall and 9-11 in the SAC. The Lions go to 29-15 overall and 10-10 in league play.

GAME ONE | MARS HILL 5 WINGATE 1

- Kamryn Adkins got the win, allowing a run on four hits in seven innings, striking out seven
- Huneycutt took the loss, allowing three earned runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings
